Please note:
- This non-rated fun event is open to chess players and members of the public. Players MUST know the Rules of chess and be able to play with a chess clock.
- The tournament will be held outdoors in the museum rear garden.

Number of entries is limited to 16.
- The final will be played on the giant chess board, weather permitting.
- There will be a chess Arbiter(Neal Kirby) who will do the pairings(random) for each round. The Arbiter's decision is final for any disputes.
- Anyone coming more than 15 minutes late for the start time for the round will lose by default.
- If a game ends in a draw, the players will play a 5 minutes a side blitz game to decide the winner.
- Sets & clocks are provided at venue by the Limerick chess club.
- Time limit: 20 minutes each player for all moves.
