Rd 1: Fri 20th Feb 8.00 pm
Rd 2: Sat 21st Feb 9.30 am
Rd 3: Sat 21st Feb 2.00 pm
Rd 4: Sat 21st Feb 6.30 pm
Rd 5: Sun 22nd Feb 9.15 am.
Rd 6: Sun 22nd Feb 1.45 pm.

There are 4 sections:
Time Control Masters and Minor: 90 minutes for all moves.
Time Control Challengers and Major: 105 minutes for all moves.

Entries Fee Masters: €50normal fee (€40 if received before 13th Feb 2009)
Entries Fee Challengers and Major: €45 (€35 if received before 13th Feb 2009)
Entries Fee Minor: €45 (€30 if received before 13th Feb 2009)
Entries received on starting day (Feb 20th 2009): may be subject to €10 surcharge
Notes:
1. Irish Participants must be current I.C.U. members and must supply their own Board, Set and Clock.
2. No player may win more than one prize. If an unrated/estimated player wins a competition, s/he will only receive 50% of the prize money.
3. FIDE rules as per ICU Handbook, 1990 and ICU Allegro Finish Rules 1996 apply.
4. The Prize Fund may adjust subject to entry.
5. For Bunratty 2009, the 2008 Champion of the Challengers, Major and Minor may enter the next higher section irrespective of chess rating.
