Jerry Molloy, of Elm Park, Limerick, and a former long time member of the Limerick Chess Club, passed away Sunday 6th Oct 2013 in St. John's hospital, Limerick aged 63.

Jerry participated in the 2013 Bunratty Chess Major and was always friendly with a smile. He loved the game and was popular with all the players. He played in many Munster League matches for Limerick club in the past.
There was a requiem Mass held at 11 am on Wed 9th Oct 2013 at Our Lady of the Rosary church on the Ennis road followed by burial at Castlemungret cemetery
